FAQs

Most of the time, yes. However, we do provide medication management for clients who are seen by other therapists in the community with whom we have or can form a working relationship and who are willing to collaborate with us using our HIPAA compliant encrypted email system. Based on accepted standards of practice, we do not routinely see clients who are not also seen in therapy by someone at our office or a collaborating therapist. If you’d like to know more about why, feel free to ask.

Probably not. You will have completed all the “paper”work in our online portal and typically met with a therapist before you are scheduled. If you have any notes or advanced organizers to help the provider understand your medication management needs, feel free to bring those and share. Otherwise, just come as you are!
We see children and teens fo depression in regular therapy appointments. However, current regulations and insurance authorization plans do not allow us to include teens in the Spravato® clinic, pending the conclusion of further research. If at some point the FDA approves Spravato® for minors we will likely open that service to teens.

Spravato® requires a substantial commitment in time, but those who’ve done it have found it well worth the effort. You will come twice a week for a month, and sometimes two months, then move to once per week for several months. Eventually some clients have been able to move to to a twice monthly basis. Your provider will recommend appropriate session frequency throughout treatment.

Do you offer a sliding fee scale or payment plans for medication services?
Because we don’t receive any external private or government funding, we can’t offer a sliding scale. We do have access to discount offers and patient assistance programs for brand name medications including Spravato® that may greatly reduce your out of pocket costs. Ask our Care Coordination staff about this. We also have limited payment plans available for copays. We cannot finance high deductible plans.
