Adrian has a steady, collaborative approach to his work with teens, adults, and families. He draws on strong relationships with physicians, school staff, family law attorneys, social workers, and other community resources to support coordinated care and improve outcomes. Since joining Family Psychological Services in 2012—and becoming a member of the senior staff in 2017—Adrian has also helped mentor and guide the next generation of providers.
His clinical focus includes court-ordered and voluntary co-parenting, parent-child conflict, reunification work, and post-relationship parenting. Adrian also has additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), New Ways for Families, ADHD, and treatment approaches that help clients address anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
Before becoming a therapist, Adrian worked with adults and children with disabilities as they re-entered the competitive workforce and served as a high school teacher. That background informs his practical, strengths-based style: he helps clients identify what is working, build on existing supports, and move toward meaningful change without losing sight of the real-world challenges families face.
